A couple of months ago I applied 5MB + 20vol all over. Now I wanna go a couple of shades lighter. My target goal is 7BG. From what I learned, 10vol is straight deposit, 20v is deposit with 1 level of lift, 30vol is 2-3 levels of lift, and 40vol is 3-4 levels of lift with topchic. So my question is, can I use 7BG + 30vol or 40vol to achieve my goal, or do I have to pre-lighten my whole head before applying the 7BG?? Note: I also have pravana green in my bangs and platinum blonde peek-a-boos. Replies: Posted By: dolly666 Date Posted: March 17 2010 at 2:33pm Tint wont lift tint so u will have to prelighten to get to your target colour.Id suggest going to a hairdresser even if its just to get them to lighten it for u to apply your tint youself.It wont have to be very light but it will need to be an even colour.
