My hair is died a slightly lighter colour than my natural colour. I wold like to get it back to natural but I have no idea how. My hair dresser has tried to dye it back to the same colour but it never matches. What do I do?! :(

My natural hair colour is a dull brown I would say and the colour I have is now slightly more toned and lighter- with hints of blonde.. not too far from my natural but the roots still show.

I would say use a neutral brown to even it it.It's the safest way to go. L'Oreal is a really nice dye. I like the Keratine one. good luck.

The problem is, you have lightened your hair so it's more porous now. I suggest you maintain a deep conditioning routine to get it back super healthy and use a demi-permanent darker colour to deposit the colour. It will hold if you keep applying it, but right now the colour is likely washing out because there's nothing to hold it in!

So your saying I should dye it a slightly darker colour and use a strong conditioner?
