Hello! I'm new here and hoping someone can help me. My husband has finally (after 5 yrs of trying) talked me into "going blonde". I have very pale cool-tone skin. I am a summer, if that helps. In these pics. you can see my natural brown color growing in on the top and at the bottom is the color I usually get from my salon. I plan to do the change at the same salon by a professional so I don't totally kill my hair. It's very, very thick and I don't style it at all or even blow-dry it.
Please help me find a color of blonde that would suit me and not make me look totally washed out! Also if you think I would look terrible as a blonde let me know Thanks so much for your help!

I read that Cameron Diaz is a Pale Cool Toned. She looks good with very light blonde hair. BUt your natural color is so dark IDK if you can get it like that without going to the salon. Maybe a darker blonde with light blond hi-lights ?

Aww...you are so pretty. If you are going blonde, I would suggest they lift your base to light brown/dark blonde and then heavily highlight it. It will look much more natural then if you went ALL blonde. Be prepared for your hair to turn very warm. If your hairstylist is good, she will be able to tone your hair to offset the warmth (ash tones). Every one has a blonde just for them!

I have a similar complexion and natural hair color to yours, although I'm even paler and cooler in skin tone. Take a look if you want.

I did chunky blonde highlights and warm brown lowlights for years and I loved them. I think they'd be kind of a medium blonde. It definitely warmed up my complexion.

God I loved that hair. I can't afford it anymore though.

Remember it's a big commitment to go from dark to blonde. Even highlights need root touch ups every 6 to 8 weeks.
