Hi,

I have strawberry blonde hair and dyed/hennaed it darker but the thing is: I hate those roots, now I've read that many oils and stuff have a reputation to darken hair and get to the follicle producing darker hair. I've read about castor oil, rosemary, amla, coconut. Has anybody experienced this and could somebody help me? thanks

castor o. il doesn't I know this cause I use it to for hair growth and it never darkened my hair. Also rosemary lightens your hair not darkens. Why don't you get the henna and just do your roots. I don't know what color you're looking for but I've read that really strong coffee cooled down dan darken your hair. Buy cheap coffee and make it very very strong and make like 2-3 pots of it and keep rinsing your hair with it.
