Hi everybody,
How are you all enjoying your LONG hair?
I woke up this morning and do you know what? I still had a massive mane of it, attached to my head.
Okay, I admit I'm being very silly. Do any of you ever just feel like being goofy?
I've been "listening" quietly in the background, just because I haven't posted since early in the week doesn't mean I've disappeared.
Keep on posting, y'all. I enjoy reading all the discussions.

Me? Goofy? No, I am dead serious all time. I never so much as crack a smile or make a joke.
By the way, a rhinosaurus just sat down at my desk. I think he's going to try to type somethi...

I can be very goofy, but I'm not nearly as good at it as my students are ! I'm certainly a lot sillier because of them!
I'm having a very good hair day, thank you kindly. I'm happy to hear yours is still attached to your head. That's always a good thing. It's better than seeing it attached to something else. I'm waiting for the morning when I see it in my cat's front claws. He's discovered that playing with my ponytail holder is a heckuva good way to get me out of bed. Oh, well, it means I never oversleep !
Hope the weather's beautiful where you are, too!

Hey Jean! The weather here is quite typical for summer in Florida, yep... not too bad if you like it veeeeery warm and humid. Yesterday -- no threat of rain during the day... complete round of golf (perhaps one of my best ever, too). Woo hoo!
And Lyris, was that a cat instead of a rhinocerous? Cats do those sorts of wacky things... all the time (if you have any, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about).
A few weeks ago I visited with a friend who has cats... and they enjoyed batting at the end of my braid (as I sat in a chair, with the braid over the back of the chair). Several times I felt the tug of their paw/claw, stuck in the tie-off (at the end of the braid). My friends though I was just nodding in agreement with what they were saying.
Hey, this has inspired a "real" topic for discussion (or so we shall see).

Goofy? I thought Goofy was a cartoon character.
Is "goofy" an American term for silliness? If so, I can honestly say, no. I am never goofy.
Warped, twisted, off-planet, mis-wired...but NEVER goofy. Always, quite seriously, nuts.

LOL. Well I don't remember disagreeing with you about anything, but once or twice I may have seemed a tiny bit overenthusiastic in my agreements.
