| I don't know the precise words to use for what the haircut is. It just doesn't work for her at all. Too straight and the bangs/fringe are too bluntly cut. Just a very harsh look. |

Heidi's face and physique rate a 10. If she is attempting to draw attention away from her hair, this cut succeeds. It's not bad, but her longer hair rated a 9 or 10; presently, I give it a 5. It's an in-between bob with layers. Looks like she needs either a haircut, or a major grow-out.  Bob

My favorite of all the styles here is this one:
Perfect bangs. Just touching the shoulder. Love it. But of course it no doubt requires a ton of work and time to get it that way. The slicked back look? Not so much. ------------- Who has more fun than people? |

Heidi's hair on Project Runway this season is driving me nuts. It is so inconsistent. One week it looks polished and beautiful. The next it looks like she let one of her kids cut her hair. She did tell Ellen that she shaved the head of one of her sons because she was tired of dealing with his biracial hair. Did she take the clippers to her own hair? OK, class, let's review: Corn rows NEVER EVER EVER look good on anyone.
That should be obvious just based on the name. They are designed to resemble rows of corn. ROWS OF CORN, PEOPLE! If someone's first reaction to your hairstyle is "Wow, I can see more scalp than hair!" you've done something really, really wrong. I'm sure it's very temporary and just for fun (she did it while on some Caribbean island) and all that, but add it to the pile of other bland, unflattering and occasionally-bizarre hairstyle choices from Heidi, and I start to wonder why one of the world's most beautiful women works so hard to make herself look less beautiful. ------------- Your hair is your best accessory; wear it with STYLE! |
