Hi! So I recently dyed my hair with an at home hair kit (Loreal). The first time was last about 3-4 weeks ago. My hair is originally black (Asian hair) that is slightly wavy. I used to have thick hair but I have been losing hair the past few years.

Anyways, the first time I dyed my hair, I used 1 box but my the top of my head came out the lighter than the bottom half of my hair. I dyed my hair a brown color but the bottom half is black. I waited 14 days and dyed it again the same color. The same result came out except the top part of my hair is lighter than before but the bottom half is still dark.

I realized that this could be due to the thick strand of hair I have. I also have long hair; down to my arm pit.

My question is: How do i get my hair one color?

Should I use another box and focus on the bottom half that is dark or should I use to box and dye my whole hair again?
