Hello.
I am a metalhead, who just got most of his hair cut off by some dumb Chinese "hairdresser" and now wants to get extensions to get it back.
My question now is : Can I headbang with extensions or will they fall out ?
Are there any methods of attaching the extensions that support headbanging better then others ? If, yes, which ones ?
Please answer those questions as fast as possible, I really, really, really want my hair back :(

Best Regards,

HeavyMetalManiac

Allright so yes, basically, you can wear extensions and behave the way you would if it was your own hair. They won't fall out. You just need to stay away from Clipin and try more permanent methods, like tape or Liquid Gold or fusion.
Whatever you do make sure to get some remy hair, if you go to a salon, make sure they install remy hair on you. If not the hair will probably bunch up like hell, and look like a huge mess (think dead animal here) after a week or so.
Hope this helps!

No problem! No remy is a quality of human hair. It is also spelt 'remi' sometimes. So basically, it means that the hair is cuticle aligned, meaning the cuticle of the hair strand are all in the same direction, a natural downward direction.
Cheap hair will be a mix of hair strands that have their cuticles going downward and upward, it can be hair that was collected from brushes, dead hair, or just collected in a generally cheap way, versus being cut from someone's head with a ponytail.
When cuticles are not aligned, it causes friction and guaranteed massive tangling and matting. It is a disaster waiting to happen... on your head.
Synthetic hair is another ballgame.

Thanks!
So basically it's a very high quality human hair (or even best quality?) that I have to ask for...
And another question : A friend of mine told me that if somebody pulled on my hair the strands are going to fall out. Is that true ?

Well sure, if you pull too hard on a hair strand, it is going to pulled out by the root. Maybe your friend wanted to warn you about not putting too much pressure on your own natural hair, so you don't end up damaging it. A good extensions stylist should take a look at your hair and advise you on what method would work for you without damage, or with very minor damage.
You can to do DIY extensions too, it would save you a TON of $$ and some methods are pretty easy and gentle. You'd just have to spend quite some time educating yourself, and reading a lot of posts.

Thanks again, but I'm not the DYI type, so I'll just go to a place a friend of mine knows and see what they can do in what quality for how much ^^

Well, I've got the hair now :)
They like melted a plastic thingy that was attached to the strands and then applied it onto my hair, also using little round plastic thingies, that they kind of melted between my hair and the melted plastic o.O
But I can headbang, the strands aren't falling out, so it's good =)
Only problem is the color, as they used much lighter hair then I have, so now I've go to tone my original hair in the same color as the extensions are, but I can live with that :)
The whole head was 1400RMB which is about 140€...
Thank you for your help :)

Sounds like you got keratin fusion, or shrinkies. If you're not going crazy with the new hair over the next couple weeks, it is a good sign and probably some decent hair. Although for the price (140 euros is a bargain!) it could be crappy hair. I am glad that so far, you're satisfied with your new install!! The color issue should not have been though, especially if your hair is dark, it should be easy for a stylist to find a decent match.

Well, it is very important to consult with good hair stylist so that he/she will let you know what kind of hair extension will look good on you so that you will look very beautiful. if you are finding any better ways than it can be done according to the condition and growth of your hair.

Thanks
