I am going to a music festival on Friday, and I have very curly hair. I usually chemically straighten it, and I have straightened it chemically before with bleach in it. My mother is a hairdresser so I can get it done for free, but the problem is that I don't know if it is safe. My mum says not to but I really need it done for the festival, because if my hair goes curly I will probably be depressed and not enjoy myself. I got highlights in my hair a few months ago and they are still here, but not as visible. I just want to know can I chemically straighten it, or is it true that I could actually go bald? I don't mind hair in bad condition as I just use leave in conditioner, so no worrys there, I just dont want to go bald. By the way I am a male and my hair is just by my ears and is very curly. Any help is greatly appreciated.
