Do you use professional barber scissors at home?  How often and where did you buy them?

I cut my wife's (and a couple other lady friends long hair) with a pair of Hashimi shears. Paid over $125. Extremely sharp. Hollow ground, high carbon steel. Well worth the cost. They cut clean, no tearing up the hair. Longer times between trims. Paid for with a few trims, and the satisfaction of doing right by my wife and friends. I have met ladies who had friends who were "professionals with licenses" use paper or kitchen shears as they were "just as good". Thanks to my IBEW union pay, (GO UNION!) I didn't sacrifice the rent or grocery money to buy them. Union electricians are NO dummies! Think you would touch a high voltage line? We think first, BEFORE we take actions. Our bosses and customers get their money's worth. My brother-in-law is a member of IAM, a precision machinist. He reminds me of the value of good tools, to do a real professional job.
