I just recently bought a house, and had sod put down on my entire property. Behind what is actually mine there is a lake and an area between my yard and the lake that I am supposed to get maintained. It is on a hill, but not TOO steep.

Anyway, this area was covered in weeds that were taller than I am. The land developer cut them all down but it is on me to grow grass there. How do I do that? There are still weeds, just freshly cut and very short now.
