Hi everyone - glad to be a member of this forum.

with my dark straight hair I will doubtless be asking you all for style advice - it has to be something very simple though.

I've invested in a pair of the latest GHD's I chose Red Lust but did have to choose between Red Lust and Blue Serenity (my 2 favourite colours)
In the end red won and my singed fingers lost their battle.

I know that these GHD's can do wonderful things to your hair  - but with my lack of hairdressing skills they make wonderful straighteners.

Do you all use these or not?

I personally don't use them. However, ghd is a trusted and high quality brand.

While hot irons have their place, like Jessica, I don't ever use ghd.  Actually I rarely use irons because of the long term damage it can do to hair, but when I do I use a Conair or a CHI.  My two favorites.
