Hi, 1st off, I feel bonded to u b/c I have the same prob !
*** the only pic I was able to get pulled up was the middle link (u in the car with your natural 'white' hair). Ur very pretty btw! :)
but anyway, I completely relate with your frustrating dilemma b/c my real hair is basically the same hue and it's absolutely impossible to find decent quality human hair in 'our' color & I've been searching for the past few years. :(
***** unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that the only way to get that perfect match is to do a full-on bleach & tone (& I haven't been able to find any way of doing this that will result in very gentle 'partying' results). Lol
*** but seriously, this is a bummer b/c personally, I love the icy-blonde look best of all
*** now, what I've found to work ok (wont be a perfect colormatch but it'll be slightly easier on the hair and less time consuming) is to also do a 1-step hilift color/tone. (like what u've done ad well)
my little concoction I've found to work the best out of my non-bleach, but rather hi-lift attempts to lighten/ tone the hair is:
loreals born blonde in 'lightest ivory' (I think it's loreal- come in a little yellow accented container of liquid or cream in a tube) mixwed with the suggested 30 vol developer & then just a capfull of claire borne blonde color in their lightest hi-lift 'extreme platinum'. (something to that affect)
**** but the platinum gives it that smidgeon of ash tone (I can't use a lot tho, b/c it'll turn the wefts gray)
now, I purchase these items from sally's
*** howver, I've recently discovered the most perfectly cores weft!! In no way i'm affiliated with this company, but this truly is the perfect color for our real hair
(it's a 60b shade); howver, the hair is $140 & is heinous quality
(in terms of matting / shedding). However, in desperate times in which u need a quickfix install, u'll get the perfect color
(if interested I can give u the name of the store)
*** with all this said, may I ask 2 questions of u?
1- where do u purchase your fusion hair. In the pic, it looked like a perfect cormatch. (or do u have to dye it?). I ask b/c i'm thinking of switching from wefts to fusion
2--- what brand of bleach (& do u use a toner) do u use on your real hair? (or do u know what ur colorist uses?)
** your real hair looks ver healthy / smooth :)
*** and naturally, how dark r u?
(i'm naturally dark brown so it is challenge to get me lifted so light)
good luck!! :)
