Ok, so I have been using my Chinese supplier for Chinese hair for nearly a year now, no problems at all. trustworthy people and good quality hair.
I must have had a bad batch of hair in my recent order because this past week I have had 2 blonde clients phone me to tell me their hair extensions have gone like a pinky/carrot-orange colour, leaving only the top 1-2 inches the original colour I put them in as.
Has anyone heard of this before?
I have had to reinstall both for free.

My supplier is adament that the girls have over done it with the heat, but I dont see how blow drying and normal straightening has done this.

I have tested all the colours I think are the problem by washing over and over and drying and then straightening, all fine!

Th rest of my blonde ladies are ok too as I phoned to tell them all.

Any ideas why this has happened? I'll post some pics soon so you can see how bad it is.

Thanks x

Mmm... it sounds like the problem comes from the hair itself, like maybe it was some platinum blonde orginally and got died by the manufacturer on top of that, but the dye didn't stick.
Who is your chinese supplier if I may ask?
I love remy asian hair and always looking for more options!!

Factories in China usually use a metalic like dye to lock in the ash colors. If it's turning orange I would say Frenchie is right. The hair was probably bleached too light and they forgot to use enough metalic dye drabber.

The only way I know to fix it is use a semi permanent light ash color over the whole thing. If you can find a light ash blonde the definition in colors should stay. With semi perm colors (I like Wella) you will need to do 2 applications to drab it.
