I have just want to introduce myself and tell you a bit about myself.  I am recently a new convert to natural hair having relaxed my hair since I was sixteen, and that was many years ago! 

 

 I had to give up the relaxer (and it was for me the best thing and certainly the cheapest thing to do) when I became pregnant.  My hairdresser advised me to go natural and I'm glad she did. 

 

I have been learning a lot about caring for natural African-American/Carribean (I am British/ Afro-Carribean) ) hair and the posts that I have found here, and the recipes for hair cremes and hair conditioners  have helped me in my journey.  Thank you all for your help and advice because it has been priceless!!  I hope to be able to contribute my advice in due course.
