Hey all, i just signed up here because i was hoping to get some hair tips. I'm 18, white, male and i absolutely hate my damn hair. I don't really have a real style, i just get my barber to cut it short whenever i go and it looks decent for about a week and after that it starts getting really puffy and ragity. I absolutely hate it because a week of getting it cut for me looks like a month or more for somebody else because of how fluffy it looks.

I don't use conditioner or any styling products besides a little gel after the first week of getting it cut and i'll try to borrow a friends camera to get some pics cause i know that'l probally help.

so yeah basically my hair gets really fluffy and big after a week of getting it cut short (i'm talkin' almost a buzz cut) so is there anything i can do to prevent this or is it just the way it'l always be?

A pic probably would help but it sounds sortof like my hair. Try different products, maybe a mousse. Go with it and try to style into a messy look. It may take you growing your hair longer to get some weight to it to weigh it down. I usually get mine cut every 3 weeks and that last week is a battle.

Conditioner might help a little, I guess. I heard once that conditioning helps the hair lie right or something.

As soon as you have a hair cut your hair ends are trimmed and they look healthy, consequently your hair looks better, however since you do not use a conditioner, after some days your hair ends start to dry a little and your hair becomes puffy or dehydrated. Buy Goldwell KERASILK conditioner and use it everytime after you shampoo.
