Probably because of the number of really bad blonde dye jobs out there :-P . If your hair is the same yellow as a banana, it's gonna look a little bad and unnatural. Women who actually take the time and money to get nice, natural-looking blonde hair get a lot less flack over it, I think. ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

maybe becoz of the streotpying of blondes?? you know blondes have the most fun, they are dumb, and whole lotta crap. and brunetes are supposed to be inteligent, boring blah blah blah. maybe they are just jealous  |

Dyed or bleached blonde hair tends to look faker than some darker shades. But it depends on the color. I'd say that even bleachy blonde gair looks better than those bright reds that occur nowhere in nature. I personally prefer hair worn in its natural color in general. ------------- |

Weird. . . I'm more tolerant of the unnatural reds than bleached-blondes. I guess it's because natural red hair tends towards the carroty-orange range, which I'm really not fond of, where natural blonde hair is generally much nicer. But I don't even know if I make sense at twenty to four in the morning, so if that was all gibberish, just disregard :-P . ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

i just bleached my hair yesterday. from black. the salon bleached it three times. and now its blonde. odd orangy color. and im going back in a week once its calmed down to have it lightened. somewhere in the pamela-anderson-fake-blonde hair shades. but ive never been into having my hair "natural" looking. ------------- BSL/Blonde/Chemically Treated (abused) 1b/cMii I swear by Redken Extreme and Shea Butter. |

| Personally, I like fake looking hair colour. As long as it still looks like hair. And I love everything natural; I just think that somethings grow from nature that was MEANT to be played around with, hair is one of them, it's so relatively easy to make your hair blonde as opposed to making all your skin dark. |

Extra-dark self-tanner might do that pretty easily, though, especially if applied more than once in a short spread of time. . . ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |
