My hair isn't very damaged at all, but yet I have a fair amount of breakage. Thing is, it's *all* on the top, and in the same area, as I found after feeling around for a while.

It ranges from 2 to 5 inches, my hair is almost down to my shoulders.

My hair is bleached, but only orange. It was dyed red before that, but very faded, so I don't think it's been *that* damaged, my hair still feels healthy though the ends get dry easier.

I'm pretty sure I know what happened. The way my bedsted is positioned, there's a small gap between my head and the back of it at night. My hair gets trapped underneath a lot. I try to pull it out carefully, but I'm almost definite I snapped some, I'm pretty sure I heard it.

I had similiar breakage before I dyed my hair; and I'm pretty sure some of it was snapped off quite short and only appears now that it's starting to grow again. Although it *is* weaker so it probably snaps easier now.

I think I still need to shift my bed a little.

It makes my hair look frizzier than it actually is, on top of that some of my hair curls up short so it looks like the breakage until I uncurl it.

It's not always noticable; It's only a few small strands at the top; but I really need a way of stopping it from sticking up.

My hair is naturally quite big and wavy, a little curly, and I'd like to keep it that way, though I wouldn't mind it straight.

On a recommendation from this board, I tried Redken's Anti-Snap treatment. You may want to try it. It is a little pricey but it might help. Also, if you can try to braid your hair or otherwise fix it before going to bed and you might also consider trying a silk or satin pillowcase.

I managed to move the bed, so it shouldn't be a problem anymore. But the hairs that did snap are going to get a little awkward until tehy grow out fully.
