Date Posted: April 03 2001 at 9:29pm To anyone young or old ...never cut your hair off! I am nearly 23, I started growing my hair when I was 12 yrs old, and by July 2000, it was down to my hips. I attended a couple of 21st, and a heap of friends told me to change my hair, (even cut it off) because I still looked the same in high school. After months of tossing turning in bed, I decided to cut it off ....Major Mistake. My home town was very rude to me, they spread around I had slept with someone, and stared at me all the time, and 7 months broke my heart. I am now a 22 yr old who has never had a boyfriend all because I had a haircut, and people believed someone had "known" me in some way, and somehow I am now changed because of the way people have treated me.
