Every day to school i wear my hair tied back in a pony tail, and it looks really boring (i have to wear my hair up for school its polocy). Would anyone know any good 'do yourself' easy nice looking updos? i'd be so greatful if you could help me out ! love nat xx

i have a friend with long, straight hair that has psoraisis and when it's really bad, it affects her scalp. Anyway, she has to only wash once a week so she wears it up a lot. One of my faves is a ponytail pulled together at the nape of her neck to start. Then she takes thick sections of the ponytail and twists and twists until it starts to buckle or twist into itself. She pins it down and does this with all the hair that's in the ponytail. it looks like you spend hours on it and the ends are sticking out if you like. Here's an article on the basic concept: http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip126.htm - http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip126.htm
Or you could just wear a bun but put some of those decorative chopsticks thru it for fun.
