          | I have been experimenting with making my own cosmetics, lotions and skin items.  One binder that is recommended for some formulas is Borax.  It is described as a crystalline mineral salt and is supposed to be good as a whitener and mild preservative.  It supposedly can be bought in the grocery store?
Has anyone use Borax as a filler for their cosmetics or skin care formulas?  If so, did you buy it in the grocery store?  Or did you buy it from a health food store?

Can it be used right against the skin without damage?

 Thanks in advance.

          | Waterproof cosmetics can be very convenient for women who want to keep their make-up looking fresh and clean regardless of their circomestances, it is not always healthy. Most waterproof cosmetics require special solvents for removal. www.heavenlytreasures.com - heavenly treasures
