I''m thinking about getting a perm and hair highlights. Which one should I get first?
Also, I''m thinking about getting my hihglights like in random pathways, a kinda messy look. Anyone know what I''m talking about? Is there a special name for this kinda highlight style?

Personally I don't know much about perms OR highlighting.. but I think you should get the highlights done first (Wouldn't it be hard to highlight when your hair's all curly?)
That's just practically speaking, but I'm sure others know whether the chemicals interfere.. or if the highlights tend to make the perm limp, etc...
