I resorted to coming to this forum since the internet doesn't seem to help me. Or: there are no people with the same desires out there.
Whenever I go swimming (preferably in the ocean but chlorineated swimming pools work, too) my hair ends up all straw-like, highlighted blond and with a rough feel to it. I believe this is dry hair, dried out from being in the salty or chlorineated water.
Now, everyone on the internet seems to want to get rid of this texture/feel. I on the other hand wonder how I can make it feel like that on a daily basis without having to go swimming.
You see, I actually like my hair like that. It's short and my hair line is reclining fast and it tends to fall down and stick to my face a bit. Gels and waxes give it a darker and dull colour. So having dry hair gives it the natural, punky volume I like so much. And it gives the impression that it's thick. This, along with the highlighted blondness is the best hair I've had in ages.
So, fellow men (or women): how do I get hair like that?
