Was the hair she wore on Shameless her real hair or a wig? Her hair seemed shorter on the show?

I've followed Emmy Rossum's career for years and her hair seems to be as short as ever: Below are photos of how she looked in a Cosmopolitan magazine shoot last October. It's not typically this long on "Shameless," but on the Showtime series it's not as short as it appears above either.
