Hi folks,
I'm a natural brunette but have been dying my hair natural red colour for a long time. My boyfriend has a thing for red hair and so I've continued dying it firstly because I love the colour myself, it really suits me and other people think ot's my natural hair colour. Secondly because he likes it. But now he wants to see my natural hair colour but I don't like it at all. I would also be worried that he wouldn't be as attracted to me as much. What do you think I should do? Thanks for any feedback

It's your hair. Do what makes you happy.

I agree with Jojswr you should think about what you want not what he likes :) he should accept you no matter what haircolor you choose

Thanks. I know I should but it would be nice if he found my natural hair colour attractive. I'm just not sure if I should take that risk! haha.

I would just show him a picture. Unless you are 100% confident that you want to color it a certain way, I wouldn't do it. I've been there, and it usually ends in regrets cause I didn't do it for me. I'm sure you'll do the right thing though. =)

Don't worry about him not liking it :) If it's terrible you can go back. DO worry about you not liking it. If you are less confident/satisfied with your color then you'll look worse regardless of the actual color of your hair. I'm SURE your natural color looks beautiful on you. I'm sure the red does too though, so pick what you like. Natural is easier to maintain, which is always nice. If you want to go back try refreshing it with glazes and deep conditioning.
