Hi,
My Hair is dry at the ends and oily at the roots. It's curvy at the bottom back. Layered medium length and fairly thick. The texture is a little course
Can anyone recommend a brand of shampoo and conditioner to use.?
Any other advise would also be welcome!

dry hair is not a problem. i recommend you to try these http://www.shielo.com/hair/wet-dry/ - Styling Wet Hair products.
