I''m going to be getting highlights tomorrow and want quick comments.
I am asian, with longer hair (4-5 inches?), and I''m not sure what color I really want the highlights to be. I''m probably going to be getting my hair cut also but not sure, could use some ideas on how to get an attractive cut.
Also, is it okay to wear contacts to a highlights sessioN?

I would hope that the stylist doesn't drop dye in your eyes. 0.o I think it'd be safe, plus you'll want to be able to see what they're doing. I've always worn contacts while dye-ing my own hair.
If your hair is natural, red highlights look really great on dark hair. If it isn't, well...you could ask the stylist for advice.

Red? Does blonde look ok? Or should I go for a more orangish color?

I know the day after has come and gone, but I think burgundy colored highlights look great in black hair, done the right way.
I've seen some that weren't that attractive, and others were just beautiful.
Kris :)
