This is the third time I have installed hair extensions myself. It's been really hard for me to match my own hair texture which is thin and fine but curly with a lot of volume. I used Silicone ThinLocs for the first time and 15" Russian hair for the first time. So far I like it except I am considering trying adhesive lined shrink tubes on the sides because the metal bothers me there and occasionally peeks through... ideally I'd like to try other methods because having metal in my head doesn't thrill me, but I am totally phobic of using glue. The links are so easy to install and remove. I can only fit 1 oz - 1.5 oz of hair in my head at a time... Is that strange? Sometimes I feel like it would look better with more but I have no idea where I'd fit them.

My hair was mostly air dried in these pics with a little help from a diffuser.

Very nice install Jadie! Very impressive, especially with a curly texture of hair! You could try installing a weft in the bottom, even try installing it with links or rings, if you're more comfortable with it.
It would definitely help you get more volume if you want to see how you would like with more hair.
From the pictures though, it looks just fine!
I understand though, when you try extensions, you play with placement, volume etc. Sometimes I feel like having a lighter install myself, and other times I want more fullness!

Wow! The install looks great! Don't be afraid of shrinkies, there are a lot of people who prefer them. The adhesive lining on the ones we carry remove very easily! We also have tutorials up for you to check out.
