Hi!! Im new to the forum, so excuse me if I make any mistakes in here! I am dying my hair red this week, but I STILL dont know what type of red I should do. Everywhere I looked said that anyone could go red, which makes me happy, but they didnt tell you how to choose the right red for your skin etc etc.

I am pale with pink undertones (i think!haha) and I have cool skin and greenish eyes. My hair is naturally dirtyish blond. Heres a pic of me...

This is the color I was thinking of... Please tell me if its gonna look horrible..

If you could show me some pictures of red hair that would suit me, or if you could tell me how to choose one that would look good that would be great!

Thanks in advance!!

I think that hair color would be awesome on you. You have the porcelain skin for it.
I think that color looks like Manic Panic Infra Red 11016. Good luck!

You think so? Great! Cause thats my favourite color of red hair :D
Well I am getting it done professionaly, would they need to bleach my hair before dying it or is my hair light enough to do it without that, do you think?
Thanks so much! :D

Sometimes they bleach it to make the color stick better. Especially if they use a temporary dye like Manic Panic, they'll probably bleach it. However, if they use an intense permanent dye, I bet they wont. (Expect regular touch ups though! That sort of red is HARD to keep from fading. I'd grab some Manic Panic (or similar) just to keep the color brilliant)... I think the color will look good too.

That's true, red fades FAST! I had some red peekaboos a while ago that kept fading to this brownish orange every few weeks, not cute. Ask your stylist how to keep it fresh as long as possible, maybe she'll know of some shampoos or treatments you can do at home.

Hey JadeM!

I was thinking of doing the same exact color, I posted a topic yesterday about it. I would love to see how it turned out for you.
