Tennischick, you come up with such attractive topics : ) My routine is pretty simple...

(1) Daily combing with a Rachael Stephens or a Chechen hardwood (followed by a BBB every two or three days)
(2) Hairwash every third day... with a modified CWC: pre-wash heavy oiling with coconut oil and/or/without jojoba. Kirkland Marine Algae shampoo (diluted in a plastic cup) and coning with Suave BioBasics conditioner combed all the way through.
(3) Air dry only, no heat styling or heat tools. Wet combing with a seamless, and fingercombing every 10 minutes until dry.
(4) The occasional leave-in with coconut oil
(5) Restraining hair at night and sleeping on smooth silky pillowcase.

Happy growing : )

Hrmm.

I wake up.
I trudge into the shower.
I wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner (currently Redken AllSoft)
I toweldry it.
I brush it into a deep side part.
I work some pomade in...or I just fluff it out a bit with my fingers and go natural.

Voila. Done.

1. Everyday I use breakthru cream. What is bbb and cwc and seamless comb?
2. Every 4 days I wash my hair with t-gel, matrix sleek.look. Once a week I deep condition with dark & lovely ultra cholesterol.
3. j.f. frizz ease hair serum and wind down cream.
4. air dry in a bun
5. I sleep in a sleep cap thing.

I need to stop reading the boards from the bottom up, so I'll be in the topic people are using rather than the unused one all alone :-P . Bleh.
Anyway, I dunno what BBBs and CWCs are, either. I'm also not sure how one goes about making a seamless comb. . . I thought they were made in like a sandwich-type press or something, as every comb I can ever remember having owned, had a seam. Are seamless ones metal, or plastic made differently?

Yes Tennischick, you'll definitely find me on the Longhair board... I'm going for classic length hair! (about 40 or so inches on me)

Layla and Kuroneko:
A BBB is a boar bristle brush, normally used for distributing scalp oils along straight or slightly wavy hair.
CWC is "condition wash condition" where you condition before you shampoo. Weird, I know, but it actually keeps the shampoo from drying out the hair. I pre-condition with oils. So that kinda counts as CWC I guess.
A seamless comb is a Kent, Madora, Mason Pearson, or Rachael Stephens comb. It's made of cellulose acetate (resists static) It doesn't have the "seam" in the middle that plastic molded combs do. Seamless combs have very smooth polished teeth.

Peace!

I use a hair/scalp oil (Jojoba based) before washing, use Nisim shampoo and a deep conditioner (Nisim or Neutrogena hair masque) afterward. Then I use Nisim Hair Extract on my scalp, Infusium Leave in Conditioner for dry hair, and Garnier Fructis Shine Gel. I will also occasionally use Pantene mousse, then I'll put it up, damp, in a loose ponytail and wait forever for it to dry. I blowdry my hair once or twice a month (and use a straightening iron), but shy away from heat products.

hmm i use Schwarzkopf shampoo for dry damaged hair, then Fruit Tree Coconut Conditioner. I use it every other day. Then I towel dry my hair, then apply Uno Hair Gel Super Hard Hold. Once a week I use Sanden Brook deep treatment conditioner.
