The South San Francisco-based biotech company has reached a deal with United Kingdom beauty retailer Space NK to sell its Algenist lotions and serums at 63 Space NK stores.

Solazyme makes renewable oil derived from algae that can be used in or converted into all kinds of things. The company is pursuing a handful of sales channels including skin care, renewable fuels and chemicals and food products.
