Hi There,

My natural hair is probably med brown. I say probably because its been soo long since Ive seen my real color.
Mostly I've been light brown with blond highlights. Because I've gotten tired of all the maintenance I decided to go medium brown.

I went to the hairdresser and she used medium brown. I believe a 6. My hair turned jet black. Ouch

I could not stand it and two days later went to have it stripped. She put dark blond on it 7N and it is now dark brown with red all through it. Much happier. Embarrassed

Now, when I dye my roots with dark blond my roots turn lighter than the rest of my hair.

SO, I'm wondering if I get a medium brown and do my roots with that - I won't have that issueQuestion

If I take the medium brown and dye my whole head with it, will my hair turn black again? Or will it just refresh the color because its already dark?

Thanks a ton!

PS I've been using permenante dye

You could mix the two colors :)
