I just spent forever yesterday blow drying my hair and today I decided to go swim in the pool. Of course I didn't want to get my hair wet so I put on a new swim cap. My problem is the swim cap smelled like burnt rubber so now my hair does too. What can I do with stuff I have at home (I don't have time to go buy something). When I do go buy something incase something like this happens again I'm thinking of getting a product by Salon Selectives. I can't recall the name but it's just for this to deodorize your hair and make it smell nice. Have you tried a diluted vinegar rinse? It will remove any weird deposits from the latex, or odor causing bacteria. Try 1/2 cup in a 20oz bottle, add water to the top. what happens if you use baking soda/ does anyone know what happen to the hair if you used it. baking soda is supposed to absorbed odors right |
