Is flat ironing very bad for hair... I am thinking of trying it out, but I have fine hair that damages easily and want to know if anyone could advise me... also, what if I only use it once a week? thanks! |

I wouldn't use a flat iron at all if I had fine hair. Fine hair is much more fragile and prone to breakage, dryness, etc... than other hair types. (Think baby hair) Heck, fine hair breaks even if a person uses an ordinary brush! I would wet comb it (to prevent hairs from drying crooked) and avoid all heat (including blow dryers).
