My hair has been a white blonde for quite a while. I bleach to a pale blonde then use Wella White Lady to tone out the yellow.
This week, the store I normally go to was out of white lady, and I decided to give silver lady a try (I've always been curious). Well, I did leave it in too long (I knew not to, Idk why I did anyway lol). It is so grey it has a blue tint to it LOL. There were a few areas in my hair that had some stubborn yellow spots, the toner did not tone these out, it just put grey over it and those areas are almost green. My hair is now a weird mix of blue/green/grey.
What I want to know is, I would like to go back to using white lady next time I dye my hair, and go back to white blonde. How can I do this? I'm pretty sure I can't just put purple toner of top of grey hair and get white....
Does anyone know how this works?

Well it sounds to me like you not only left the color on to long but your hair is overprocessed (damaged) what i think you should do is get a clairifying shampoo and use it untill the green, blue, grey falls out. then when you do your retouch try again with white lady you can use a 5 volume to deposit the toner and leave it no longer then 15mins. or you can just keep an eye on it when you see it chaged rinse it out. And you should probably do some treatments on your hair as well. (Joico is really good)
