Hello,

I recently purchased Crystal Clear Shades Eq because someone reccomended it. I mixed Equal parts (2 oz.) of crystal clear and processing solution and put on semi dried hair and sat under the drier for 20 minutes. But nothing happened, instead my hair got dry and parched looking. Did I do something wrong? Was I only suppose to use the crystal clear solution alone? Can someone help?

Thank you!

What did the directions say to do?

There arent directions on the bottles. I actually bought it through someone on ebay who said to mix equal parts of Shades Eq Crystal clear and processing solution. And, depending on the length of hair you may add another mixture. Stay under the drier for 20 minutes and let cool for 5. It didnt add any shine. It just made my hair dry and brittle looking. From what I heard this is a great conditioning product but I am just not getting the results that I anticipate.

Is this a salon product that somebody purchased in bulk and redistributed without instructions, or a retail product that they broke out of the package and sold without the instructions (and maybe without some of the stuff that came in the box)?

I would be really nervous about buying stuff on ebay and applying it to my hair according to the instructions of the same stranger who is selling it.

Next time try harder to get hold of the real instructions that tell you how to apply it. And do a strand test before applying it to your head.
