My hair is currently in it's natural state: medium brown hair with reddish/warm undertones.

How do I get it to that lovely golden blonde color that Jennifer has in the picture, without screwing up my hair? I'm doing it at home with a hairdye kit from the drugstore... Thank you in advance!

i belive you should try going to a licsened professional because the results could be not what you want. then you will have to have someone fix it.

I would have to agree. Going to a professional is the best idea. It isn't worth the risk, trust me (Trying to get blonde I've gone carrot top orange before!).Going lighter is always harder than darker, and the professionals know the products to use that won't dry out or affect the condition of your hair. But I have done this color before, and to let you know, it took a base color and 3 different highlights in very small fragmented-all-over-pieces to achieve the look. 7 Hours in the salon chair was well worth it! It is beautiful but very hard to upkeep, and 4 colors with long hair will be expensive! Hope I have helped.
