I just re-dyed my red hair because I knew it was time to freshen the color. But I wanted to experiment with a different dye than why I've used in the past. I've only dyed my hair 3 times, all with Loréal products, but this time I used liquid Ion Color Brilliance in Medium Intense Red Blonde and I used Salon Care 30 creme developer. My roots were actually a darker color than my hair before I dyed it, well.. It was just faded. It wasn't intentionally a different color. I asked my stylist before dying again if I should do anything different and she said I should start from the bottom and do my roots last, but I didn't take her advice. When I washed it out, my scalp and roots were orange, even though the rest of my hair was basically the desired color. I don't know how to fix it.
I bought Ardell Lights and Brights Hair Color Enchancer in Really Red, and I was wondering if that would do the trick if I just put it on my scalp. Would that work? If not, what should I do?
