Hello everyone I´m new here. I think I want to be a redhead now LOL I haven't done anything to my hair in years. I´m a little afraid of the damage dye causes and also the horrible way roots look when the hair starts to grow. because of this I thought of trying a ammonia free dye such as Loreal Casting 834 (Butterscotch) since it looks similar to what I would like but I know it does not change your hair drastically (which is good for my feared root problem but not so good if you end up looking exactly the same). What would you guys suggest? Have any of you tried the Casting 834? do you think it would do anything to my hair (see pic) or is permanent dying the only way to get something as drastic as red/auburny hair?
