| Hey all, I was just wondering whether it's healthy to keep hair tied back while you sleep. As my hair grows longer it gets in my face when I lie down. I just want to make sure I won't be damaging my hair too much by doing this. |

As long as you tie it back with something hair safe, and not something that's going to scrape at it all night, it should be fine. Don't tie it back in a tight tail - then the extra tension from turning your head at night might pull out hair. A loose braid seems to have worked for centuries, why not try that? ------------- |
