It seems the side shave trend is traveling around to the back of the head, I am seeing lots of these lately.
It seems easier to hide yet more is being buzzed off.
What do you think of this style making a comeback?
I think its a fun way to keep it long but still be funky with the short, I am all for it!

I just did two last week. With a trend of girls growing out their hair (Hunger Games it seems), alot of the thicker haired girls don't want to layer much or thin out so they opt to shave the nape area to thin it out. I kind of like it actually.

Me too; 17 years ago, my wife had it done and I got to maintain it for about three years.

Are you talking about the very early 90's styles where the girls were stubble shaping the nape of the neck a couple inches up? They were doing that... or at least that is what they told me, so they could put a ponytail up high and their necks would be able to breath, so when they did athletics, the sweat and heat would be able dissipate. When you undid the pony tail the longer hairs would cover it, giving no impression that anything was cut. Is that what you are talking about?
