A friend of mine uses Queen Helene's Cholestoral Conditioner for her hair. Her hair is always super soft and shiny, and I tried it on my hair and it didn't really do much...what exactly does cholestoral do for your hair anyway??

It's a deep conditioner, and I found that it doesn't do the work of a regular conditioner, ie detangling. You need to do a regular conditioning afterwards, too.

I would say that there's probably more to your friend's hair care regimen than Cholestorol alone. Try to find out what she's using it in cojunction with, such as shampoo and conditioners. In addition, see if she uses styling tools - heat probably makes a difference in your results.
