I think her hair looks brassy and overly bleached like she colored it herself. I think she was much better as a redhead. The ends look fried. Maybe because she's been coloring it every color under the rainbow. Agree, disagree?  |

Great topic and very timely since Demi was just making headlines talking about wanting to be blonde indefinitely. Yes Demi has been dipping into the color pots a lot lately. I know I've seen her red, pink, turquoise blue and a variety of colors. I always assumed she was using a wide range of extensions. She can certainly access the best hair with her celeb hair styling connections. Unfortunately while I like that she's experimenting, I agree that her ends look much lighter than the middles or roots which can be from overbleaching. I also can see brassy undertones throughout. While I agree with fatmoogas that Demi could look good as a blonde, I also agree with Kramer that in this case the blonde is a huge downgrade. Ironically I just wrote a blog about her hair from the viewpoint of how she's been wearing it very long and very straight. I guess that was 5 minutes ago because I know she wore this hairstyle when she chatted with Kelly Ripa about wanting to remain blonde. I actually loved her hair best when it was long and either raven black or deep red with lots of natural waves and textures. She's latin and I think with her skin tone it's hard to pull off the light blondes. Which probably explains what I see as fried ends. ------------- That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-) |

I don’t think this look is great for her; it makes her look a bit washed out. I loved the long dark hair on her best, it suited her well. I think she could pull off many different looks even blonde but this particular shade looks unnatural on her. ------------- |
