Here I am again. Jessica. Went for a haircut this morning to a different hair salon from what I went to last time.  Last haircut was exactly what "he" wanted on me, not what I wanted. Todays haircut was all about "him" once again.  To give me a haircut he wanted on me, not what I asked for. Kind of odd both stylists from my last two haircuts did nothing what I asked for. I got a cute haircut today, but I wasn't going for "cute". I went to a well respected salon (paid $55 + tip for haircut).  It seems like the more I pay, the more they want to cut.  I know, I know........hair grows back, but my bangs were cut so short that it'll take a while.

Anyone out there want to talk.  Need encouragement.  Was going for a sexy look, but got cute instead. I don't like cute! Too young like. Email me at rufflesNfrills@yahoo.com.  Or IM me to chat.

Email or IM me and I'll send along a picture.  My "bob" is no more.  He cut the "bob" out and layered/tapered it in the back.  I felt like crying.

Talk to friends and total strangers whose haircuts you like and find out about their stylist. Go on to Yelp and read reviews. You'll find someone who is described as being exactly what you want.

And bring pictures.

Pictures are always helpful. My first instinct is to side with a client who feels that thier stylist has ignored thier wishes. On the other hand...sometimes an experienced stylist knows a thing or two about what suits a particular person's features, personality and lifestyle. Post back and let us know if you've grown to like the new style more.
Or less.
