I'm not sure if there really hasn't been much news lately, but I haven't seen anything worth posting a thread on for some time. Of course, that reflects my tastes and preferences a bit: none of my favorites have changed for a while. Another point is that due to the ubiquitous use of extensions it's difficult to be sure about what's going on hair wise. For example, Katy Perry has been growing out a pretty short cut, but you'd hardly know it because she uses extensions so much of the time. Same thing happened with Hayden Panettiere. A few others changed their hair drastically and somehow didn't inspire much strong emotion one way or the other: Miley Cyrus and Anne Hathaway come to mind. Halle Berry went back to her rather boring and unchanging crop which some people love. A few changes here and there were once again the result of extensions.

So, a little bored...but waiting for the next biggie.

The faux bobs and prevalence of extensions certainly has put a damper on quick reporting here (as no one likes to be proven worn in short order), as well as, in general, putting a damper on the actual changes themselves (why take the dramatic leap of a short cut or the painstaking process of a grow-out when you can fake either for a night so easily?). That said, there's still plenty of instances of gorgeous hair being worn about town that could be commented on if people were so inclined (see: Amanda Seyfried and Anne Hathaway promoting Les Miserables).

Personally, any day I get to see Halle Berry's nape and ears is a good day for me, so I'm quite happy with that. I've also been waiting for Marley Shelton to make a public appearance again (it's been close to a year, I think) to see how her style is these days.

Anyone else have a personal favorite they keep an eye on who's been incognito lately?
