Well, considering that she just got it done before the Golden Globes and this is about a month or so later, I'd say it's more likely "between trims" than "growing out".
And the fact that her bob doesn't look even slightly less full with the undercut is a testiment to just how thick her hair is...

The undercut, or her hair in general? I'm not a hundred percent sure she IS growing out beyond the bob she has now. She's had it close that length for a while, so I;m not sure she aims to go longer. |

So, interestingly, that latest pic appears to be 2-3 inches shorter than a few weeks ago, taking her back to a bob. Wonder why the trim since she had been steadily growing it out for "Homeland", which is still currently in production for it's upcoming season...
