Hi Monica
Yes, you have the right ingredients. The proportions I use are:
2 egg yolks 1 tblsp honey 1 tblsp oil
Mix very thoroughly together and apply to dry hair. Let it sit for an hour minimum and then wash off with lukewarm/cool water and shampoo of your choice.
Another natural protein fortifier for hair:
2 cups full cream milk Juice of half a lemon 2 tblsp natural rosewater
Rinse hair with water prior to this treatment. Mix up all ingredients. Pour through hair and catch in a bowl (over which you hang your head). Scoop up the mixture from the bowl and pour through hair. Do this till all the hair has been saturated. Wash hair with a very mild solution of shampoo or - and this is really better - just wash off in warm water without shampoo. Do a final rinse in diluted rosewater to kill any milky scent.
Have fun !!!

thank you uzi i use a leave in conditioner. would that affect the benifit of the protein, since you put it on dry hair? i already have the leave in conditioner in my hair. would it be to much? or since you wash it, would it not matter how much you have in your hair? does my question make sense?

Hi Princess M
Actually, it's good if you use a leave-in conditioner after the protein treatment.
The protein strengthens but can also ruffle up the cuticle and be a little drying - so you'll be ensuring that the cuticle will be smoothed down and moisturised by using the leave-in.
Take care Honey,
