hi, I have hair down to mid back, I have been trying to grow it for 2 years now. I did alot of mistakes before that and I think I am suffering the consequences now. I am thinking of cutting it short and starting over, but I would rather not do that. My hair is VERY damaged, dry, frizzy (I think because of all the damage) I have tried everthing, and I don't know what to do any more. I cant wear it down because I am so embarassed with it but whats the point of having long hair if you can't show it off and it looks really bad. I would appreciate some advice please. Thank you

Hi Jelena,
First of all, don't give up on your hair! I'm sure its condition can be improved.
My thoughts and suggestions (others may have differing or additional opinions)... first, a clarifying shampoo, followed-up with loads of deep conditioner... and after it has dried, apply sparing amounts of jojoba oil if it feels at all "crispy."
Detangle thoroughly before washing, detangle with a wide-toothed comb...
