 Today, it has been one year since our friend Uzma has had a hair cut!!! Hoo-ray! Happy Anniversary, oh hand-maiden of uncut ends.  Did you have your party? Go Uzi ! How she/we plan to celebrate, I don't know. My 3 year growth trip has passed in end July.... but I got a forced re-adjustment (luckily, it wasn't bad) 14 monts later. So my official two-years would be in September :P ------------- I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation. |

Hi Everyone Thanks for your good wishes (and Traci...it's so cool that you remembered!!) I had a private party in the garden...just me, my 5 year old niece and the full moon  . We planted candles in the soil, put ribbons in our hair, danced and sang, prayed for our hair to grow as far as the moon that smiled down upon us, read some stories.....and sent love-blessings upon all the long hair growers in the Universe  .So, even though y'all wern't with us in the garden, we were with you in spirit .Hugs and kisses, ------------- Uzi |

Hi Elissa You are right..it means a lot to me to have got to this point. It bears a significance more than the apparent growth of hair. It is a milestone in my personal growth, the expression of freedom of thought and action that I never thought could be mine during the dark years.
