i'm baffled. with all the new lines of shampoo that is out. they have harsh detergent!!!! not just cheaper brands but salon too. i put ''so long'' shampoo back because of the detergent! i felt stupid because my mom already paid for it when i notice it. we brought it back. conditioner to the shampoos are ok. does the companies that make them know it's harsh detergent?

Yes.
Apparently not enough of their potential customers care to know. Consider yourself fortunate to know better.

They use them because it is cheaper for them to use them. As you already know we live in a very greedy world.
Its a sad fact about the ingredeint list. I checked out a new line offered by my distributor and they all had the harsh ingredients.
The company name is called GRUND. Beware of it!

Hi Erin,
I sent my handy little ingredient list (it's actually 5+ pages) to Monica and I will gladly send it to you as well. Bmail me your email address and I'll ship it your way.
A few harsh detegents to watch out for (especially if you have dry hair) are:
Sodium lauryl sulfate Alkyl benzene sulfonate Alkyl sodium sulfate Ammonium Xylenesulfanate Benzyl alcohol Ethyl alcohol Isopropyl alcohol Kaolin (clay) Sodium C 14-16 olefin sulfate Sodium dodecyl sulfonate Sodium polystyrene/styrene Sulfur TEA-dodecylbenzene TEA Laureth Sulfate

Is there a relative gravity indicated on the list ? Like which ones should be avouded like the plague and which ones are just small poisons ?
In any such case ; crap@kintaro.ca . It's my spam account, but I still read from there.

Hi guys...I will send the list your way in a few minutes...have to switch to the other computer where it's stored. Kintaro, each term has a definition of what the ingredient does, but no ratings of potential for harm as such. I try to avoid drying ingredients altogether, no matter what degree. Seems to work okay so far!
